The library is established in 1998, at Indraraj Arts, Commerce & Science College, Sillod, Dist. Aurangabad Affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad. Over the years it has become a full-fledged Library.

                  Library is the Heart of the college. Teaching & learning systems are supported by library through reading materials. Our library is well equipped with reference books, textbooks, Journals, periodicals & newspapers etc. library has its own importance in our college. It helps in imparting the of knowledge to user, so library is big knowledge mall in the college. Four Computers have been installed for students to access internet & online Resources etc. Soul 3.0 software developed by INFLIEBNET is used for the automation of the library and User Tracker software developed by Softek Solution and services, Pune. It is use for to count the visitors.

                   The library has three staff including one is Librarian and Two are Library Attendant, Librarian is Recognized research guide of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.

  1. For all library transactions Identity Card is compulsory. 
  2. The library is well equipped with large number of textbooks reference books, highest number of national & International Journals & Periodicals e-books, e-Journals & CD’s, Photocopying facility internet facility, independent reading Hall for Girls. 
  3. Students shall collect library cards by producing Identity Card. The library card duly filled and with one photograph is to be submitted at the issue counter for borrowing books. 
  4. If library card is lost, student has to inform the librarian in writing and he/she will have to pay Rs. 50/- for the duplicate card. 
  5. Library books must be returned within seven days from date of issue. 
  6. If a student fails to return the book before due date, he/she will be charged late fees. (1 rupee per day per book)  
  7. Students must check the books thoroughly in respect of any damage or missing pages while borrowing itself. Later on, no complaints in this respect will be considered and he/she will have to pay fine according to the rules. 
  8. If Identity card is lost, student has to inform the librarian in writing and he/she will have to pay Rs.100/- for the duplicate Identity card.
  9. There is a Book Bank Scheme which provides books to the needy students of the college for academic

  • The institution has spacious central library. Reading rooms are well furnished to accommodate students at a time and provides conductive environment for study.
  • Separate reading hall for girls and boys.
  • The library is automated with integrated library management software SOUL 3.0.
  • INFLIBNET (N-List) facility is subscribed.
  • The books are bar coded and the users are given unique barcode ID.
  • Apart from the printed books the library provides users, access to e-resources of N- list which is a part of INFLIBNET, where the users are given awareness and made to access browse and download e-books, e-journals, databases, etc.
  • A well-equipped Digital Library having Internet connectivity with 4 nodes is housed in the Central Library for access to E-Resources.
  • Exclusive reference section is available in the library. A user record is maintained for students and staff.
  • New arrivals of books and journals are displayed on separate stands and racks and informed to staff through the WhatsApp group of library “Vachan Katta”. Ultimately same under Mentor-mentee Scheme.
  • Security of resources is ensured through a system of checking at the exit point for all resources borrowed by the users.
  • CCTV cameras are installed in the library for strict surveillance.
  • The library is provided with Wi-fi facility.
  • To the fresher’s user orientation is provided at the beginning of the year regarding the various facilities, services and resources available in the library.
