About Department
The Department of English, at the forefront of humanities established along with establishment of the college institution in 1998 which is permanently affiliated to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. As we all know that English is one of the foreign languages and the global means of communication, the English Department offers a dynamic study of literature across historical periods, geographical boundaries and diverse political and social contexts. Our faculties are passionate scholars, language mentors, innovative researcher and leading minds in their fields. It has two full time faculties. One of them is elected as Member Board of Studies in English at Dr. B. A. M. U, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
The faculty in the Department motivate the students to write literary pieces for annual magazine, wall papers and other literary activities. It implements various academic enterprises for the students also encourages the art of close reading, interpretation, and the skill of problem solving through critical thinking. It teaches to express ideas effectively in written and verbal communications. It is our endeavor to make enable the student; fluent speaker of English language. Our continuous efforts are to teach them beyond the classroom and to bridge the gap between humanities and other faculties of education.

- Dr. Santosh Chouthaiwale has been elected as Member -BOS in English, Dr BAMU Chh.Sambhajinagar for two terms 2017-2022 & 2022-2027. Also recognized as Research Guide, 15 Students have been awarded Ph.D. under his guidance
